I just purchased this for my boys bedroom...it is a small bedroom 10X10 (they also have a dedicated playroom so this room is only for sleeping) and this bed fit perfectly. The matresses don't fit snug like others have stated but unless your child is really small (and my youngest isn't yet 2 years old) the gaps aren't that bad. My oldest loves going up to the top bunk. I ended up using all of the slats under the top matress and just placed the bottom mattress directly on the floor in the bottom bunk to help as rails to keep my youngest in the bed, not the floor. For the price it is a great bed!! It really does look nice and looks like it should cost a lot more. [...]

I like to design of beds, and price was good. It took a long time to get to my home. I was able to put the beds together in about a hour with my husbands help. But my kids where not able to sleep in the beds for another night because the the 3 slats that hold the mattress where not sturdy enough. We had to buy two sheets of plywood to place under the mattresses. Also the frames don't fit a twin mattress snug, there is gaps. Not very safe if you ask me. But the plywood was able to make the beds safe to use.

We compared similar bunk beds with desk/drawers at $1200-$1400. I was a little worried that the deal looked "too good to be true". [...], assembly was a piece of cake, and this bunk bed set is beautiful. The quality is amazing for the price. I added a sheet of plywood under each mattress instead of box springs... solid, and comfortable! I had never heard of Mercantila, [...]. I would definitely buy from them again; and I highly recommend!
Our delivery was much sooner than expected. The driver was prompt and courteous. He even helped put the bunk beds in our garage, and helped my wife open the shipping boxes/skids to make sure that the wood was not damaged in any way. She said that he acted just like her dad! (a very good thing)

It really is a pretty bunkbed for the price and the desk/5 drawer came assembled. The wood is a nice color. The HUGE problem is that the actual bed frames are LARGER than the twin beds. This is a serious safety issue and we are trying to figure out how to make this bed safe. There are also only a few pieces of wood to hold the mattresses up. We are going to buy more wood and put that in to make it safer. It is really too bad that the company did not take safety into account because it is so nice looking at such a great price.

The wood is nice quality, the desk has cork board so a child can put up his/her work, the drawer and shelf space is great.
The delivery was difficult to track because the "free" lamp was shipped separately but given the same tracking number as the bed. Turned out the bed did not come via UPS at all so that was a surprise but it all worked out fine. Also, the email notification about the shipment did not say exactly what was shipped so we thought the bed was on the way when it was really the lamp. The next notification was apparently the bed.

Some screw holes were off-center and I had to make some of my own, but it was no problem - I'm a mom with no real tool experience and I had no problem doing it.
Bed was exactly as it appeared in add. No gimmicks.
I would highly recommend the loft bed superstore. The price was excellent, no shipping and free ladder and desk lamp. Customer service was great and very helpful and the delivery company, when they called for delivery date, was available the next day after call.

We bought this bed for a 9 yr old girl and it is fantastic. It is relatively light weight, but is constructed very well and is solid. Assembly is easy, although I would recommend using your own allen wrench, as the one they provide is pretty cheap. The bed looks great, and so far has proven to be very durable. No problems at all.
